This website has been
developed through the ongoing efforts of the I.S. 61 Project
Arts Committee members, Laura Benjamin and Frank LoCicero.
Each one has brought unique skills and insights to the
building of this site.
Laura has been teaching art for over 30 years. Her greatest pride has been in helping so many of her students gain acceptance into New York City's specialized art high schools. She has also developed a Computer Graphics Program that has been integrated into the existing art curriculum.
Frank has been using computers in the classroom for over 14 years. He has taught computers to students, parents and teachers. He has implemented and managed computer labs. His expertise has been essential to keeping the educational and administrative systems running throughout our school.
